Anytone has proven to be a decent China made radio. I wouldn't hesitate to buy one. They have some neat features and sound good.

Love my AT6666. They have a new model called the AT6666PRO. Not sure of what the upgrades are on the new model

You can’t beat the power it has for a stock radio priced very reasonably. Look up more 411 on the YouTube channel. I heard the “Pro” model came out earlier this year and is a step up. Only con I have its not to user friendly. But once you set it up to your liking…. It’s a keeper. The Pro is supposed to be more user friendly.

I have an Ares II and it works well. It has more features and capabilities than I use, or even know how to use, but once I got it set to my liking I've been happy with it.

So those 10 meter radios, do they have to be modified to be used as a CB radio or do they work as a CB right out of the box?

On mine you have to take the cover off and move one jumper. I bought it from Scott's Radios and he had already done that.
