Could these frigid temps cause a stop engine light and shutdown?

I used to use alot of that fuel treatment stuff. Like a whole bottle in each tank. Had gelled fuel one morning. Some jacksss had unplugged my hot block heater and plugged in a dead one.
Ten below zero. So much fun. -
On some it can be faulty low coolant sensor,,if you unplug that sensor it will not shut down…found this with Cummins X15

I was blue to get over to truck today. I poured some diesel 911 in in case I had a gel situation. Then I looked at the coolant reservoir and this was it. It is rather low. Could this be a cause?
