I would have made the terminal mgr get his lazy butt out of the office and conduct a vehicle equipment and condition check and MAKE HIM DATE AND SIGN IT. and taken multiple pics of him and your truck and where you left it in case they try to trash your DAC. Because they will try to trash it!!!

Be real careful with your interchange form. When I quit back in Dec. I did NOT scan it in and they told my new employer I had an avoidable accident because there was damage on my tractor when they got it back.

They finally fixed it but it took me a couple of days of telling one of the 20-something year old punks in Phoenix that he was within reach if he didn't fix it.

Oh yeah.. CONGRATULATIONS!!! You will be able to make a better life without!!!

There is NO FAILURE involved in your leaving Knight. At least not on YOUR part, and you should never think there is. There are some companies that just don't deserve to have good, loyal employees, and IMHO, Knight is right at the top of the list.

Things have slacked off a bit in Lebec since they started servicing the NorCal stores from Spanaway instead of Lebec. The scale is going to be to the right from the entrance up against the wall/fence. Yes the loads are mostly flat boxes of wood parts. Those light loads are one of two things, mattresses or customer orders.

Well hello again. I have not posted here in a while since I have been busy driving for a worthless company that continually gives me miles. I would normally post here from the road but again, this dang company keeps sending me home when I ask so I can't take time my busy off time at home to write things here. I really hate it the most when I am sent to a place by my DM to get an empty and there is one sitting there ready to go. What gives. It burns my butt also when I get my detention pay and my scale tickets reimbursed.

Yep, I think Picked the wrong company. I need to find a company that when they lie to me and screw me over, I'll know it.

Knight abscribes to the same philosophy as most trucking co's with a high-turnover rate: "It's the nature of the business."

And as long as they believe in that mantra, they will harass, piss-off, and lose good drivers on a regular basis.:yes2557:

All joking aside, I really don't have any complaints against Knight.

I am treated fairly and get plenty of miles. I also don't turn down loads.

I get home when I ask.

I get paid my detention as well as reimbursed for tolls, scales ect....

I have a great DM who doesn't feed me a line of crap. He is up front with me and keeps me informed on what pre plan is coming up.

I have gone onto the E Logs and get all of my questions answered in a timely manner.

I have never had a problem with fuel routing.

Yes, I have to search for an empty trailer sometimes but my DM usually checks first and only once has sent to a wal mart that didnt have one. He actually called and apoloagized and paid me for a local trip because of the lost time.

    Am I just lucky?
No. I treat my DM the way I would expect to be treated.

It is what you make of it out here. Try to put a smile on your face once in a while and have a sense of humor. Trust me..It goes a long way
