Yes no- way - out with most companies you are not hired until you go through orientation. Unlike most companies willis shaw will not bring you to orientation until all the check's have been made. The only thing that will deny you a job at there orientation is a fialed drug screen or physical, mybe a realy bad smell or something of that nature.

    NO-WAY-OUT!! Thanks this.

You aren't hired. Just approved enough to get the real 3rd degree.

Before orientation they all go over your background. At orientation, you'll fill out all the paperwork (again if you did it online), and they'll go over your background AGAIN with an even finer-toothed comb. Be painfully honest about everything!

Hired before orientation? Hopefully not. If for some reason they decide that you aren't what they're looking for, you'll be let-go and that will appear as being fired on your DAC report. If you're offered any money and you don't make the cut - DON'T ACCEPT IT! JB Hunt does that all the time, and screws everyone who accepts the chump change.

    BTW Jas - Good Luck!

It is so very exciting to keep track of your progress. As a woman, I am hopeful that all goes well and I get a smooth transition from school to work. I enjoy your posts immensely and so looking forward to driving again. Please keep up the posts! Much luck in your new adventure!
