Pretty busy start to the week, left Sunday for Anniston, went to Elmore Monday and got rock back to central Florida. Ran into @NightWind shes still alive and well, always nice to see a familiar face. Dropped my rock yesterday and went below Tampa and grabbed fertilizer. Left the house early this morning with that, trucked it up to GA in the rain, then bounced across GA for rock and made the long drive home, super long day but I won’t sleep in the truck if I don’t have to, Ocala, where I live is almost always on the way when I’m on rock heading south. Stay safe out there, I guess a good bit of the country is getting hammered with winter weather. IMG_1557.jpeg IMG_1558.jpeg

Yea dude this winter sucks! I took deer hides up to WI and it was so cold they froze to the salt, and the salt froze to my trailer. So that was fun. I had so much fuel treatment dumped in my tanks I’m surprised they weren’t glowing. And put in mixed diesel in Wisconsin. Got rock out of Eau Claire back down and put a jug of rv antifreeze on the walls, a jug of it on the floor and sprinkled salt on top, got to KC and dumped it at 2 degrees and it come right out. Haydite to north central KS and then headed to the salt mine. Dumped that in KC and I’m done til Sunday where I do another deer hide load. Luckily this time it’s supposed to be above freezing the whole way. An owner op buddy of mine is down your way he’s got blood and bone meal for a dairy in Bell FL and then glass out of Tallahassee up to ATL.

I’m familiar with the dairy in Bell, pretty nasty place, then I have to assume he’s loading glass at Marpan going up to Strategic? Yall stay out of my loads and I’ll leave yours alone :)

Marpan sounds right but I’m not for sure. And yep Strategic is correct! As for the deer hides they make gloves out of the skin, and the hair they use for fly fishing lures. And apparently business is booming.

Just got off the phone with him, you were right on all accounts. North Florida Holsteins is where he went and he’s loading at Marpan as we speak. Talking Rock next.
