    You drop it down to get to the splines and put grease in there?

    No. It’s supposed to be maintenance free. Splines are sealed in a rubber boot

    I asked ridgeline. He said it’s ok if I do this repair, just as long as I don’t fill out a fhwa inspection form.

    Can you drill, tap and add 1? There was a hand full that were added to dads last truck, he was a pretty firm believer that if it moved it was not to be maintenance free.
