    Hook is coming.

Mobile dude never even showed up.

In all the miles on Cascadia's, this is my first fuel pump, and that was my first water pump.

Freightliner says a day repair, they has the part.

    The OM is not pleased.

We think there's two paths with this truck.

Just sell it, eat a loss, drive Blackie II.

Trade it in on a new truck, eat a loss.

What else is left to break on it? Fuel pumps are not a cheap repair. How many miles are on the truck?

Man, I really hate it for you, Dave.
But I guess there's no good answer. Any machine is bound to be a PITA, new or used......it's just a crap shoot just any way you go.
Here's an idea......trade Blackie II and Blackie III to the same stealership on a new one. Get rid of 2 problems at the same time.

Everyone said the fuel pump on the ISX would grenade.

All they did was change the plungers at 800K miles. $50.

II was / is an awesome truck. It's really mechanically sound too. Need a OneBox before long. But it's a great truck. And the title is in hand.

I think your going to fix it and keep running. You can't get rid of it with out losing too much money. You have to fix it anyway.
