So let me understand this whole back and forth going here...

1nonly loaded his truck over gross/over axle and got a ticket, since he wanted to "please" the owner (aka...kissing up), got caught and got a ticket for same approach...now he wants the company to pay the ticket...and he is attacking the common sense driver who called him on his stupidity!

Did I get it right? Thought so! So therefore, those of us that run legal, load legal, and log legal, are the "boys" and the kiss up is calling us the problem with the trucking industry today! Must be Liberal Mathematics or something!:yes2557: :biggrin_25521:

And this has what to do with the discussion on the thread?

Glad you can afford to sit and still take care of your family. I wish I were in that situation so I could retire!

Well first you get a brain, then you have someone teach you how to use it so that you may think for yourself. Then you shouldn't have any more problems like this. I get the feeling from reading your posts that you like to blame your mistakes on everyone and everything else. The best advice anyone can give you at this time is that its way past time for you to grow up.

    This thread went nowhere fast!
You did get some good advice!
Never hand a ticket to a company to pay! Pay it your self THEN give it to them! Next time you get loaded do not cross a DOT (chicken house) scale before you are scaled at a pay scale and if over weight or you can't shift it first thing is contact dispatch and tell them your weights then ask them (no don't tell them yet) how you should ask the shipper to fix the load or if he the dispatcher is going to call them to fix the load and let them decide what to do but if you are using voice communications TAPE the conservation! Yes a dispatcher will tell you to "go with it and they'll pay the fine" and then when you hand them the ticket they look at you like WTF? I didn't tell you anything like that! I've been there done that!

Get the load legal or don't pull it unless you know how to go around every scale on that route!
