Getting ready to leave Jane Lew. Walked past a man inside who was looking at the candy bars, too late for any sandwich’s in the heat box now. I made the comment there’s too many to choose from ain’t they and grinned. He responded, yea there is, I only have $8 left to my name and trying to stretch it.

I continued on over and got my coffee and thought about what he said, I myself have been in his shoes and one point or nother in my life. Pulled out my $ to see what I had, only $11 in my pocket, but, I had my company credit card too.

As I walked by I handed him the $11 and told him to stick it in his pocket. He looked at me puzzled and refused the offer, no sir I can’t take that he said. I insisted he take it, he said give it to her who I assume was his wife. She also refused with an overwhelming look on her face. I looked at him and told him… I’ve been where you are, I want you to have it. As I started to walk away I tossed the $ on the floor between them, her gratitude and continued thanks will propel me long into the night.

I’ve been there….

There was a time, when the buried some one, they would put a string through a small hole in the coffin connected to a bell up on the head stone. Just in case

 

What's with these Dumbledores parking in front of the scale now? The fuel island cloggers are bad enough but now the foreigners are clogging the scale up to.. some dude flipped me off and probably called me a donkey boinker in Punjabi because he parked in front of the scale and i told him to move his #### and go park like a civilized human being.

Yesterday another foreigner almost ran me over in the fuel island as I was walking inside to take a leak and I told him to watch out and slow down and he proceeds to throw me every curse word in the book at me...
all I can do is laugh and shake my head... otherwise I'd probably be in jail
