    A guy can be mistrusted less not showing his cards a corner at a time.

    I've met several folks here in person, had supper, some have been to my shop, both the old one and the new place. Some good people here. Some I haven't met but have been able to rely on advice about whatever I was working on at the time.

    The shroud of secrecy doesn't give the air of mystery some think it does. But suspicion? Oh yes. Maybe there's something about it I don't get. I fueled up at a Pilot in Childress, TX and I'm pretty sure I was being watched by one of these mystery members of the forum. Looking back maybe I should have talked to him, but I wasn't sure at the time if I was just imagining things.

    Some of us ain't hard to find at all. My place is even on Google maps. Swing by, or give a call. Or at least wave with one or more fingers when you drive by. Don't be weird about things. The special agent trucker bit is a little nauseating after a while.

    A simple obituary is pretty easy to post PP?

    Since we run in similar overlapping circles, I'm sure we'll run into each other someday, but so far it's been at best a few days out of sync. Passed Tug once, he saw me, I didn't see him. For some reason I just don't look over the median like I used to. So far only ever actually met Sawmill, of whom I still carry some garage envy haha. I'm not an extroverted person by any stretch, so there has a be a larger purpose than just meeting to motivate me. I do miss Humble's posts, and his sense of humor.

    Only one person here has really ever lived rent free in my head, and that's when Brett(?) just vanished. The young guy that drug vans in NE Pa with his dad.

    Lol, well, misunderstood probably a better description. I found him to be a no nonsense straight to the point kinda guy, with a somewhat witty personality that can easily be taken the wrong way, especially when not talking with him in person. Lack of seeing facial expressions or tone of voice can lead one to make incorrect assumptions. I’m sure I’ve been taken the wrong way many times on ttr. Wife says I have an odd sense of sarcasm and words that cut like a knife….

    @OLDSKOOLERnWV
    Thanks for the kind words.!

    You my friend, well shoot guess they broke the mold. Your one of a kind, and your actions speak loudly of your character. It's impressive how giving & helpful you can be, but on the flip side one also should think hard about it if they dare cross ya!! Lol

    I'd hate to be on the wrong side of that, & never will find out either!

    As for this @TX2Day situation
    Sure hope you were being genuine..

    I can be naive with my reading comprehension, but sus out a tall tale teller toe to toe in a few seconds..

    You are correct & under no obligation to do so, but these fellas are right. An obituary is deserved. Many of these good folks prayed daily for a trucker man they never knew 1st hand. As a pastor, you should know all about closure..

    Yes I remember him being around here now that you mention it.

    I often wonder about @DougA, always enjoyed his input.

    Doug sent me an injector timing tool for a Cummins, wouldn’t take a dime for it no matter how much I tried to pay him. I think of him every-time I see it in my toolbox….
