    Ya I pull a flatbed so it’s never a problem unless I’m hauling something other than sailboat fuel.

    Actually, I started coming here to ask questions of the Wise Ones,
    now I come back for the high entertainment value.

    Believe it or not , when I started with swift there was a couple of those oddballs in the flatbed yard with a spread axle.. then one driver took it to California on accident and got a ticket for kingpin law violation...since it was spread and not tandem where u could slide forward...

    Do the hubs use the same grease? Is it harder to back up a 96 wide? Why didn’t they just meet in the middle and make a 99 wide?
