Does no oil on dipstick mean no oil in engine?

    a truck driver that has never checked the oil on a vehicle???

    don't forget to check the spark plug wires!

    Ya, that is one of the absolute worst days of your life when you’re in the middle of a long hard pull, and a spark plug wire or two comes off. Makes the engine knock like a Jehovah’s Witness…..could likely lead to a really awkward conversation with a serviceman when you tried to explain what you thought happened lol

    What’s odd is the auto trucks dont have a dipstick for transmission as we do on automobiles…
    Your dipstick for engine oil is a foot from the oil fill cap,,, if you can find that,,usually a red, black or yellow cap.

    I remember some engines just had a sight glass for oil lever. My brother had an AMC Alliance that had an oil level gauge on the dash. Never saw that before. I think cars did away with the transmission dipstick years ago.
