I am currently employed by Swift, but I am not driving right now.
I was injured on the job and now on work comp recovering from knee surgery.

In your last post, I really got a kick out of this part...
“Our industry-leading positive recognition AI continues to set us apart, and we’re delighted the Knight-Swift team recognizes its potential to improve fleet operations, elevate driver safety, and enhance overall driver satisfaction.”

I have never known a driver facing camera system to enhance the satisfaction of any driver.
They really put a spin on it, don't they?

    1) I've been in jobs where cameras are constantly watching in every part of the office or plant.
    2) Quite often, one couldn't even blow their noses or scratch themselves without the possibility of "coaching", verbal or written warnings, or outright terminations.

God bless every American and their families! God bless the U.S.A.!

Over the mountains, through the woods, into the valleys, coast to coast, from sea to shining sea - truck drivers can and do go anywhere and everywhere, every day, every night, all year round.

Isn't it all about learning to read (or with Big Brother, speak) between the lines, and outside the lines, and around and through the lines?
Or between... the rules, the conditions, the restrictions...

I love the term Pretzel Logic. It applies to so many things, especially these days when so many are so confused about so many things.
Doublespeak, triple and quad speak... the Pretzel just get more intricate.
Throw a little butter and salt in with it, and people just eat it up.

ducnut, JC1971 and born&raisedintheusa Thank this.

Thank you. It is slow going.
The quad tendon on my left knee was severed, and it just doesn't feel the same after the surgery.
I just went from physical therapy to a work hardening program to get it stronger. We'll see how it goes.

God bless every person and their families! God bless the world.

With technology this advanced, any type of personal privacy, (as we all know it), will really become a thing of the past. HOLY MOSES!!

It’s not just a camera. It uses AI to observe what your eyes are looking at and what your hand position is. If you hold your phone to your ear (even if it’s off) it will trigger drive cam. If your eyes are looking down for too long it will trigger drive cam. We have this at my new company.

    ducnut Thanks this.
