Buying used wheels and tires from a truck recycler could save you money from buying new. It would get you a complete set of wheels, that would save you the swapping tires from Columbia to the Volvo.
Switching from 11R 22.5 to 295/75R 22.5 Volvo VNL 670

I would buy used rims. But if I have to change the studs anyway, I don't see the point right now. My options are to just stick with the steel rims that are already on the truck and buy a new set of 11R 22.5, or swap with the Columbia if I want aluminum rims and save $3000 on new tires. The Columbia is going to be out of action for a while. As a matter of fact, I'm turning in the plates today and removing her from my policy. I'm getting ready to hit the road for about 3 months, so I'll reassess when I get back.
