Yeah we were limited to 80 but could get a permit for up to 90, but you can't go over your bridge or axle rating for the 90,so the 34's were limited to around 82 and the spread was limited to like 84 or something like that because of the axle rating

The hard part is spreading while backing up, spreading with a frameless is always interesting, but I refuse to chain my door with a frameless, if it all comes out in one shot not my fault.

    I don't blame you.

The first guy that decided to put chains on one of those must have been having a "here, hold my beer" moment"!

That short one that @Tug Toy showed might not be too bad to spread out of though if careful.

I spread with mine if the ground is level and no overhead obstacles. But even 26' gets a little sketchy at times and homeowners tend to not understand physics.

When I moved here from MO I didn't understand it either. But in KS, if you're hauling "road-building materials" they waive Bridge Law regulation, and you can gross 85.5k# on secondary roads, but you're still supposed to be able to axle it, which I can't with a closed tandem, but in 4 years I've never been stopped. The KS Spec end dump is an aluminum 28' with a 8'8" spread and it's what the majority run. As a new one truck operation, I need versatility, so I run a steel trailer so I can haul aggregate/hot asphalt/concrete tear out, etc.

Yeah it is amazing how they will just "wave" there weight laws for certain things, let's you know it is all BS and just a money grab

Took the truck for a spin yesterday for the first time with a wagon hooked up. She’s weak…. Like super weak. Seems lazy when bobtail but would run. Looks like I need a new ecm? IMG_2427.jpeg Has bad v slope return on all injectors… I ohmed out all the wires from the injectors too the ecm plug and everything looked perfect.
