Thanks. Ours went more like this. No tongue on the girth ring, Strap hanging down from saddle, pull thru girth ring, and loop up over saddle ring, work the slack out (knee the belly) and tie like she did, excess hang down loose not flipped back up.
In my prior, I was remembering the strap as attached at the girth rather than the saddle.

My broker has blown up my phone with notifications about temporary increases in trading margins for S&P 500 and Dow futures contracts for tomorrow. They are up high, like 4 times their normal day rates and to carry it overnight, is sky high at $20K per contract and up to $60K per contract depending on account size.
