Sounds like one of there lease ops, they are just over $1 a mile and like $32hr for load/unloading. I’m sure the OTR freight guys see that and think it’s good money but for Cryo it’s a joke.

    Rugerfan and viper822004 Thank this.

Another third party carrier with lots of “owner operators” aka lease operators. I’m sure just like Genox they probably run a lot of teams so hours of service are never an issue.

I've seen them several times out west. I want to say that the guys I saw were hauling argon or oxygen, but I could be wrong. Never got to talk to them though

    Rugerfan Thanks this.

Based on their website. It's either lease or local PA.

That’s not what I’ve seen advertised but then again I never spoke to anyone on the phone.

It does annoy me seeing last week a LGT truck in Northern Maine. And I mean Northern. Almost to Canada. But still don't hire out of Maine.... Like I understand working a short time for Messer but still

    Its pro
The flat rate is low. Plus operating costs are high. I’d say most or lot of people better off with working for the gas company.

I have a feeling that's why a lot of 3rd party carriers has lease programs. To put some of the cost into the driver

Especially if they have their own trailers that gets expensive super fast. We have liquid hydrogen trailers that are $1.3 million a pop!
