Kill shots Roger — every one them is a kill shot— might have to wear out some boot leather tracking and take a couple days off work, but they’re kill shots

Saw my dad pick up[ a piece of wood strip from the ground, it have a thin coating of sandy dirt on one side. Whip out his pocket knife and strop the piece a few strokes, toss the board aside, fold knife and back to pocket. Daddy's knife always sharp.

Was told by an old walking mail carrier in hometown, who whittled/carved as he went door to door. Knife's cutting edge under a microscope had minute "teeth" like a saw blade slanted the way you stroke in sharpening on a stone.. Lay the blade on the stone, pull it toward you (like taking a slice off and apple to eat) for a stroke or two, reverse and stroke the other way (like holding a branch in left hand and cutting it in two pushing down/away). Can't swear to it vs other options, but my little 4 inch Norton 2 sided rock has kept me cutting for over 20 years.

(From about 1974 to 1992 I went thru a Case Stockmen (3 blade) a year, scraping paint off forklifts to get serial numbers. Why the Case repairs I referred too.

    Skillet Cornbread:

    Ingredients:

1-1/4 cup milk, more if needed
    1/4 cup melted butter.
    I large egg, beaten.
2 cups corn meal (White —Sunflower brand)

    Directions:
Put the cast iron skillet in the cold oven and set to 425 degrees
Combine all the wet ingredients, then stir in the cornmeal. ( Don't over mix.)
    (Add Corn /Jalapenos if using)

Once the oven reaches 425 degrees, take a pot holder and remove the hot skillet.
Carefully pour in the cornbread batter.
Back in oven for 20 to 25 minutes , golden brown and done.

    For Jalepeo Cornbread:
    Add: 1/2 Can Creamed Corn

    Add 5 min cook time.

    In Muffin Pan-Same Mix
Spray pan with PAM -Fill level
