Yes on Opelika, not sure on the Brundidge. Haven't been down that way and have not asked. I see they are still hiring for Brundidge so I would say they kept it.

I know they left the Monroe, Ga.

I remember making a delivery there. I was on I-80 coming from Ohio and decided to take a "shortcut" through Locust Pass because I didn't want to go all the way up to I-81 to come back around. So, I got off on the Danville exit. I was supposed to save over 40 miles of driving, but I think I actually took longer to get there than it would have taken going the extra miles. It was pretty fun, those 11% grades!

Still occasionally do the Wegmans there, but been awhile. Been years since I've been to that Walmart.

Yeah buddy. Some steep stuff round those parts. Even more so when you get off the highway.

Used to park at the bar mountainside down street. Interesting climb just coming out of there. Always was a blast in the winter getting in or out, or the mud if raining.

Additionally, was a convenience store about 5mi down road. More room & flat road for in/out. Usually would go there if weather terrible & did not want to take chance of getting stuck at/near bar.

Lot's of good memories from years ago from that bar, before original owner sold. Food was great back then, too.

Was only bar in state that still allowed smoking throughtout after law passed there disallowing.

Sued the state & won after a bunch of $ spent.

No longer a smoker, but respected owners spunk & principles. Was one great guy.
