I too have thought about rehab for gross offenders. Life w/out parole seems harsh. Maybe something like 6 months county might lurn um....

 

It’s kinda like the motorcycle gangs— if you ask them they’ll say they’re Motorcycle enthusiasts

 

Lots of times it's the result of things gone too far. You insult me, I insult you back, you get louder, and it just goes on and on to the point where we both get excused for a couple of days.
Threats will get you a lifetime ban. I don't know what was said, but I'd imagine it was something like my dad used to say, "where two fools met."
Reo told @Dave_in_AZ to go #### himself. Yeah, you don't get to do that either. (And he knows better because he used to be a Mod).

Never heard of it with the Barrets either.

Was a Serbu RN-50 that blew up on Scott from Kentucky Ballistics.

But, he was firing old SLAP rounds (much higher charge than normal rounds) that were proven to be double or more charged. It was the faulty misloaded ammo that caused the failure, as proven by his testing trying to replicate the situation.

He had to load over 4x the normal charge to replicate the explosion.

Would be very interested to hear of any issues with the bolt Barrets for my own information.

Always regretted not buying an auto Barrett when I had screaming deal opportunity & the cash 20yrs ago.

Man, are they expensive today.

Will still get one sooner or later. Till then, have to settle with borrowing one of uncles in .50BMG or .338 Lapua.

 

He abused his mod powers. And he banned numerous people over personal grudges. He was rude and petty, and if a person called him on it you would get banned. Personally I think it couldn’t have happened to a nicer guy.

 

Speaking as one on the receiving end, I agree. All I did was disagree with what he said and I was gone for a month.
