Sadly, it was out of view of my dash cam, but saw this almost misadventure today. Lowboy with ag equipment hung up at Carnes, IA. Not sure if he called or train was going slow enough to stop, but the train was sitting at an approach (yellow) signal that's just past a blind curve. Cops weren't even there yet. Got mighty lucky, he did!

 

Sure been a lot of the truck vs train lately.

 

Well it's tracked. Definitely is gonna have way better traction than a wheeled skidder

 

Anyone else see what looks like drag marks on the pavement? Looks like they have the deck right on the ground but I don't know how they got where they are with those drag marks.

 

Good eye. Didn't notice until you mentioned. It appears the unit "stuck" under the bridge has "air vents" on the unit he's hauling on the nose and the first truck i don't see them, although it's hard to tell from the highway camera... That's why I mentioned them being different... I definitely could be wrong...

Reading that reminded me of this.

 

They should replace the 'Driver of the Month' picture with the one stuck under the bridge.
