CDL and CLP holders will be temporarily disqualified upon conviction of serious traffic violations, which are defined as:
- excessive speeding, involving a single charge of any speed 15 miles per hour or more above the posted speed limit

You have to have 2 convictions of tickets in the "serious" category in a rolling 3 year period to get your CDL suspended. Speeding 15 or more over. Unsafe lane change, tailgating etc. 90 day suspension for 2 in 3 years. Get a 3rd one and it's another 180 days. By then no one will hire you anyway.
