Where is everyone #5

Well, lost a tire on my lowboy. Didn’t have a spare to take with me, this is going to hurt…!

 

Just to write a ticket to start the process and get a truck headed this way….

 

Funs all gone ta hell in Mayfield. Things just won’t ever be the same

 

Well they called back… $569 for road service, and $489 for a tire. And… it would be 3 hours minimum before the truck got to me.


Told them to call me back in 15 minutes. I did 1 last google search and after calling a Firestone auto care they told me to try Bailey tire service. Bailey has a tire and is about 40 minutes away….

 

Setting at Dale Hollow Kwik stop. This place could get me in trouble….

 

Not sure where it was at.. on us287 about a hour southeast of amarillo. Think the nearest town was named memphis?

 

Seems most of the bad stuff was in front of me heading east. Once I turned south it went away. Just a little rain nothing crazy

 

Memphis Texas ain’t no joke. Theys a fella runs a long hood Pete outta there pullin a cow bus come around me on 412 one day once I was proper daylighted he gets on radio and says “c’mon hand I’ll kick that door open you just slam it shut behind ya.”

We ride on across there to 35 where I gotta go North and he’s headed South. We tell each other happy trails and he says “don’t be hard on your lil mota this ol V8 can be a hand full”
