What if it Snows?

Guys golfing, one slashes over into the very rough.. High grass....Says, you guys play on, I'll find my lucky ball, cut across and catch y 'al.
All agree and he dives off in to like a hayfield. Time passes other play on and an hour later he stumbles out of the woods on that side, mangled all to hell.. beaten and scratched... What happened to you they ask?

Well I got over in the high grass and knowing the ball would be low, I started to crawl around. Crawled up to this cow standing there munching. Looking up saw this distinctive colored ball; caught right up there beneath her tail, causing kind of an arch you could see up in there real good,
where it was nestled and everything. At this time there was a thrashing coming thru the grass to my right and this woman struck her head out near me. We were both looking around, and I assumed she was seeking a ball also. So I pointed toward the cow's tail and said. "Look like yours?"
That is all I remember till I came too about 30 minutes ago....
