Air filters are changed. I was able to jurry rig up a fix for the can shrouds. It aint pretty on the inside but it works and looks totally normal till you pull it off. Its not a long term fix but i got can shrouds on order and they will be here before i gotta change my filter again.

Shocks got done today with the oil change. Found a shop in amirillo here that had exactly 2 left there were thrilled to get rid of (apparently they accidently ordered them years ago and couldnt return em) and decided to make them do them at the same time as the oil just because it was easier. Good thing too because one fell apart as it was being removed and the bolt was so rusted they had to torch the whole thing off. Turns out the shocks were the factory shocks with 511k miles on em lol......

Tires still have life left so ima wait till they get into the yellow then yeet them. Got maybe a month or two of life left. Three if in lucky. Or if i blow more then 2. Decided ima go with whatever is on sale when i pull the trigger. Contenentals arent popular where i live and are special order and hecking pricy besides. Like more then michlin pricey at least locally so $10954.32 is the quote i got for 8 drives 2 steers and ballanceing all of them with 4 new wheel seals for good measure just because lord only knows when or if they have been done. Bridgestone was quoted at $7876.47 for same by comparison as the next highest. so ima grab michlins, yokos or bridgestones depending on whats cheapest and easily replaceable at the home shop.

Had kuhmos on my trailer and was less then not impressed with them. Only got 7k out of the one and the other came apart a day later. The other set got 35k miles and was down to cable. Also had hankooks on my trailer. And imo they are pretty good. I got around 90k out of the last set i put on the trailer. And the current one is holding at around 55k

Goodyear ive used exactly one and it was used when i got it. More of a "its literally all they have in 24.5 and its better then a rin to get me down the road" deal then a i wanted it deal. So no way to give it a fair shake.

    never heard of general tire.

Fair enough and yea never heard of general tire before. If i see em ill yeet them onto my trailer to see how they hold up. But for this rig im going to be changing to 11Rs so i want something i know will hold up since 10 tires is wallet pain and then some.

Also unrelated note. so my lonestar has a monoleaf suspension. And a heavy duty one too, spec sheet says rated at 21k. But anyway with the shocks blown it literally rode like a rigid axle. And i didnt realize how bad i was getting beat up. Totally diffrent ride today. Still needs an alignment but its not trying to break my hands at every pothole.
