Where is everyone #5

Although I didn't mind staying out, Swift was like that. Not sure if they still are, but it was one of the reasons a lot of company drivers didn't like how they ran them. It's a good reason to look elsewhere, when they start running you like a rented mule and a new one at that.

 

I don't mind staying out .. lord knows i done way more time than a couple months.. but atleast at swift they give you more than a 34hr reset off.. lol that's all we get here... plus they cut the pay 10cpm from .66 to .56 not 1 month after I got hired , because of the spot market rates... which we still use quite a bit of brokers for backhauls ..they were supposed to bring it back and they haven't yet.. all the drivers that have been here since 2012 when the company was started, ended up leaving this year...kinda sad if you ask me...
Typical trucking company bs .. weeding out the good hands and replacing with inexperience... the newest Craigslist ad says no experience they start you at 14 an hour during training and .49 a mile after....I made the same at swift straight out of cdl school.. lol a guy would make more at burger king these days. No joke... the only thing I have going for me is I know how to run a eld effectively where I'm not wasting time off my 70 clock so dispatch can get me 3500+ miles a week and I have seemed to have gained their trust to put me on the long runs all the time... since I guess alot of guys f those up for whatever reason... fine with me I don't wanna do LA to phx and back 3 times a week with tarps on every load and getting paid mileage..talk about wearing a guy out.. that's a whole Lotta work for no money

Hoss i aint gonna knock ya if'n you like the lavender bed bath and beyond body moisturizer scrub . Dont forget the lotion after , It puts the lotion on its skin or it gets the hose again .

So the old rooster and the new rooster was……..and the young rooster said let’s run down there and get us one….the old rooster said hold on let’s coast and get them all

 

Always heard the old bull/young bull. But this works also.
