I was alluding to the ELD editing thing. Those of us here playing by the rules are competing against people with no regard for the rules. I think English only is the correct first step. If they can't speak and read it enough to answer an LEO'S questions then the truck gets impounded and they get detained. But the ELD editors who have shops set up in Croatia or wherever they're doing that? I dunno how you stop things like that.

The same, impound the truck or $10000 fine, something like that.

So there’s a guy in South Dakota who brings over South Africans on the Ag visa saying they’re going to work in his feedlot. Then he sticks them in his trucks and they run all over hauling livestock for $25 an hour and basically live in his trucks for 9 months before going back home. It’s not like people don’t scam the system as far as how they end up working here.

It takes a desire to enforce. Demand the logs from the company, run them through an AI algorithm with the records of all the scale houses. You could prove wanton fraud at a rate of fifty carriers an hour 24/7. Shut down the DOT number, issue arrest warrants for criminal public endangerment. NEXT!

It’s really not hard. Make new carriers post a $100,000 bond for the first three or four years of operation, forfeited if the DOT number gets suspended. Confiscate the hardware and auction it as fruits of a criminal enterprise. That’ll fund enforcement.

It’s really NOT hard to do. The politics, on the other hand……..

It's a part of the bigger picture. Why did they bring tens of millions third world individuals
in the past 4 years and treated them like royalties, when they don't care about the american citizens? Including very dangerous gang criminals, as they fight so hard for them to not be deported back?

Because they hate this country and want to destroy it no matter how much the people will suffer. They don't do it only here, they do it all over the world. The new world order.

That will most likely be the case. I am okay with this as well. If they don't enforce it they deserve to deal with it. Sad the people on the road should not be put in danger regardless.

I posted a link to USCIS website, it has all the data there.
    H-2B Employer Data Hub

Click on Industry, deselect All and choose Transportation and Warehousing. There are less than 800 visas issued for 2025.
It's easier to use desktop browser to check out the website, on mobile you can't click Apply to set the filters.

I have no idea why trucking media keeps pushing that extra 100k visas for truckers BS.
