They do because drivers from other countries have a tendency to drive and treat driving just like they do in their country. They probably don’t care enough to lean English but will have to wait and see. Have ever been to Laredo TX ? the Mexican drivers can’t speak English but they also drive like they do in Mexico. I have not been to Their in many years but when I was in the past they would do all kinds of crazy stuff like turn left at stop when they are in right lane because they are in a hurry or don’t care or that normal in Mexico.

Again, this isnt a "reading english" issue. This is an anti-immigration witch hunt. Look at all these foreigners doing bad #### on our roads!

Americans kill 10,000+ every year in DUIs ALONE. Where is the outrage for THAT?

Oh, this gang-banger killed this innocent person. (the vast majority of gang violence is directed at other gang bangers).

None of this has ANYTHING to do with reading english. I have only found 2 (TWO) confirmed cases of trucks killing someone BECAUSE the driver couldnt read english. Prove me wrong. Thats all I ask. Give me hard data.

Right there in front of your eyes.

For you this is all political, for reasonable people it's common sense.

It's dishonest that you try to invent a standard of measurement that crash investigators don't directly measure then use it's absence in the data to suggest it doesn't exist.

Crash investigators don't measure literacy hence it's not in the crash data at large...

Using your "standard" we can say nobody who murdered their wife drank orange juice for breakfast that day because it's not in the FBI data.

If you can't read english you are effectively illiterate when behind the wheel in America and studies show illiterate people have higher rates of crashes.

Super simple. Sorry it doesn't fit your politics. It's not political for most people.
