The driver is still probably a douche, like all the rest of them.

Not my horse, but if I was to do all that. I would slide the tanks all the way forward and locate the batteries behind them. That will transfer some fuel weight from the drives to the steer and make for a cleaner platform to put the steps. Get rid of the stacked batteries and just put battery box like what’s on a 9400 international back there

I had thought about that too. My right side tank is all the way forward. It would make the steps a bit easier too

You got some knowlege on these.

Any ideas on age? You got any thoughts on if it was likely pieced together?

Not sure, I’d need some closer pics to be honest. They are fairly easy to piece together from different mills.

I’m looking at what appears to be a coiled spring, makes me wonder if it has a form of receeder on it, or just a helper spring to pull the head blocks back to load another log.

I don’t see any handles or frame work indicating it has knees on the head blocks, but that’s not a requirement, just makes it nice if the log has a dramatic taper from end to end….
