What does regional drivers average weekly as far as pay? I’m thinking of going with this company or Millis, but Millis doesn’t have an orientation until the 25th and I need to start work ASAP.

Depends on experience, dispatcher, and area I net 1000+ a week

Man I really hope I can do the same. I’m in Atlanta and I was making $18/hr all straight pay no OT with a staffing agency and I just need more money. I’m trying to get a house and it’s just not cutting it. I’ve been looking for good paying regional jobs that I can net over $1000 with or at least close since most LTLs are not hiring at this time. Tyson seems like the best bet, so I’m going for them. What is the orientation pay? And how long would I have to be in training before receiving my own truck?

I know this is older thread but tyson sucks, I haul for a 3rd party carrier and I'm getting ready to quit soon because of tyson, constantly waiting on loads, that im not getting paid for, or they overload the trailer with weight, so they have to rework it constantly, and tyson company drivers are miserable, and trashy, leaving dead bats and maggots with blood in the empty trailers, say something to them and they threaten to fight you over it. Like how unprofessional can you be.

You probably work for either K&B or Screwster.

No, I work for day and ross. have for about 18 months, but like I said I'm quiting at the end of this month, and it's directly because of tysons bullcrap, I'm not going to deal with them anymore.

But you didn't work directly for Tyson so it's not the same. Outside carriers are not treated the same as company trucks.
