    I have a Derringer in .22 mag it rings my ears more than my .44 mag. with that short ### barrel it has.

    Stick an empty plastic coke or sprite bottle over the end of the barrel. Align barrel, bottle, and the shootee.. Fire away.....

    Both I suppose. It basically amounts to possession of a silencer without a tax stamp and the ATF will frown on that bigly.
