    And the last I heard they had almost zero driver turnover. A lot of companies would do themselves a favor to observe how Wal Mart treats their drivers and maybe adopt a few of those practices! I'm just say'n.

    It's an amazing theory isn't it...

    Pay drivers for performing their jobs and they might just stick around...

    Hahaha.. Normally head in around 7:30 all week but we have a 2 hour line-haul delay on Friday nights so I'll go in around 9. Bunch of guys ahead of me on my run are off so I'll be on the high side of the 13-15 we'll send there tonight - that should make for a quick night and plenty of time to hang with my favorite set of tata's tomarrow..lol..

    Yeah,but WalMart aint "TRUCKING"
    on the other note "Pay" to my understanding is for "work",if you aint working how are you entitled to "Pay"(wages)

    Prime example of where trucking has gone,earn your keep or clear the seat!

    How you figure if your not doing anything you should not be pay????
    From what i hear walmart paying for breaks/sleep there basically rewarding you for be safe. Your driving 11 hrs a day you need your 10 hr break to recover. Time is money..and my time away from home is precious i think i should be paid to be away from home....
    I guess a school principal shouldn't be paid either when their just sitting in their office huh???
