Where is everyone #5

Insane. Never seen one out that way. Maybe just lucky. Kinda crazy, but 212 from Belle Fourche to 90, I've never seen any law there except in Ashland where the sherrifs deputies normally sit.

I passed two troopers and a MCS Patrol through there yesterday. I appreciated the troopers lenience, I may or may not have been slightly above posted.

We used to put’er against the dash and pat that gas from Belle Foushe all the way to 90. Id ease out of it at Brodus and Ashland. I always had the Heebie Jeebies through there. I can’t explain it. Maybe it has something to do with being a CAV soldier. I’d get close to the monument of the battle sight I’d break out in people bumps almost hives. I always come outta Billings Livestock or Pays as hard as that black m’fer would carry me it was worse in the dark, I got lucky I guess I sometimes thought they have catch me first lol. Miles City wasn’t my favorite either when I’d cut North right around Beebe I always had that get me the hell outta here feeling.


I don’t want to say I’m not proud to have served in 2nd Battalion 7th Calvary. From the day they lined that Garry Owen flag upon us on that parade field in Ft Hood it brought a very uneasy feeling. Custer left a black cloud over our unit. I think we all fear the outcome of the Bighorn repeating its self.

 

Had a real mind#### of a problem today. Turns out the factory wired a diode backwards in a new wiring harness I just installed. Gotta hand it to the one apprentice who suggested we take jumper leads and flip the diode around after eliminating literally every imaginable option.

 

Last day of school. Been raining all day. Really most of the month. So operation had to be inside tonight.

 

I feel ya on the rain every day. Rained here on the first. Which is supposed to mean it will rain 15 days that month. It’s already surpassed that
