I have been thinking of getting on with CRST.

Can anyone tell me about their training center in Springfield Mo?

Do they have solo drivers or is it just teams?

Also what is the length of training time? I heard it was 60,000 miles.

28 days, which would mean ROUGHLY 20,000.

Thats where Phil out of the OKC office told me I could go Monday the 26th.

But because they do not run solo unless you are o/o I am gonna go with someone else.

There is no crst training facility in Springfield. However, a lot of students that get their cdl from C1 get hired by crst.

The training program IS 28 days. But the number of miles that the trainee is supposed to get is 10,000, according to company policy. Much more wouldn't even be possible. The trainee is not measured by what the truck is assigned. He is evaluated by the actual number of miles he logs, at least that's what Mustafa (director of the training program) says.

I'd be pissed if it wasn't already a flat rate for training.

I was a i/c trainer with crst they say you will get 10000 miles in 28 day but its just not the case it all depends on what loads they have booked and what loads your trainer takes.i liked the company as a whole just didnt like the .18 per mile i paid for maint.acct pulled a lot of lite loads and always had time to get there made more money running solo than i did training as the try to keep student in th training bibble which i think is just holding there hands......if you want to make the 28 day training listen to your trainer and learn as much as you can forget about sleep

13,000 miles in 28 days as long as your trainer signs off on you. No night driving for students the first week. They just brought in 170 new potential hires for this week. I know because I just started my 28 days with them out of Cedar Rapids and 1428 miles later I'm in Pheonix, AZ
