IMG_1449.jpeg IMG_1448.jpeg Bellows Falls Vermont in the rain. That’s the best I can do on tarping. Easiest load to tarp. Square load of OSB. I’m not sure I can top that one lol.

Some things you will damage if you really put the man to it. And a vibrating strap will burn paint. So a 1/4 twist down each side stops that

    exactly
The picture I put right on top of your post there that stuff is squishy, even if I put big ### edge protectors on it, if it don’t have a half twist, it’s gonna beat the wrappers off those units between Brooklyn and Connecticut// vs lumber you can crank the living #### out of and you’ll be fine with no twists in your strap

Ancra put out a little bulletin on this. Been quite a while ago. They actually recommend putting a 1/2 twist in straps. Claim it reduced vibration and flapping, extending the useable life of the strap.

We load to 14 foot tall in the bay of our steps, that’s a long run from over the top to the trailer. Putting that 1/2 twist certainly keeps them from beating the wind and product.

This guy did a really good job here. Yes, 2 inch ratchet straps. Think the concept translates.
