I was with Con-Way Truckloaf when that happened. Luckily wasn’t in Joplin that day. I went through there three weeks later. The people at the terminal had some wild stories.

A little catchup post.
Took a load from over there back to over here. Then I picked up a load from over here going back to over there for Tuesday.
But while I was here, they serviced the truck and put my APU back in service. Not sure what the fix was.Knucklehead, cdavis188 and DonRobbie Thank this. -
cdavis188 Thanks this.

Met a jaywalking deer on US 36 this morning. Of course he was uninsured. Had to detour to Troy, Illinois to get a replacement headlight put on at a TA (Freightliner couldn’t do it today). The lights still worked amazingly enough but it looked godawful and was no doubt horrifically misaimed.
Waiting on my 2 hour part of the split to run out then I’ll try to get a couple hours away from St Louis while I still have 18 wheels and 2 kidneys.Attached Files:
Woobie, Knucklehead, Friend and 2 others Thank this. -
