ARKANSAS English Checks Have Begun, They’re checking ALL trucks

This isn’t going to be constitutional amendment..this is going to say it’s the law to be proficient in English in order to have a cdl in the United States.

 

See here is the problem with this thinking, the courts have little say when it comes to legislative review, this is something that the constitution nor congress has ever granted them, it is a power that they stole.

 

Oh, completely agree. Main reason I voted for Biden is he said he was going to push for term limits on Supreme Court members. It was NEVER intended for those people to be "in power" for 40 or 50 years.

But the fact remains, however they got their power, they got it. And they will use it.

Imagine if you will, EVERY truck, being stopped at EVERY scale across the US, and having to go through this, FOREVER.

Do YOU want that? I dont care, Im about to retire... But do YOU want to do it for the rest of YOUR career?

 

I will make a prediction right now on this Arkansas enforcement "policy". It WILL end by August 1st. How?

Someone will go into one of these scales. Invoke their 5th amendment right to not say anything, they will be arrested, a hot shot ACLU lawyer will sue Arkansas for civil rights violations and impeeding interstate commerce and win, and this silliness will end.

Darn right i want it..speak fluent english or get out of here because if you can’t read signage and communicate you have zero right to a license..cdl is a privilege not a right..as is a regular license as well

 

Had a run in with a “can’t understand or acted like they couldn’t understand” English the other day. Dude was parked at what is basically a small convince store with a fuel pump. I needed to drop. Asked him to move and got a blank stare. So I weaseled my way in and blocked him with my truck to where he couldn’t get out but making sure I left the gas pumps open. Started getting my hoses set up and then he comes up motioning like he wants me to move so he can get out. Sorry pal, too late for that. Dropped one compartment at a time so he had about 40 minutes to sit and think about his life choices.
