You’re fos what do you think making up complete nonsense does.A receiver ask you about a rate then just gave you cash.Tell me the one about the cow jumping over the moon now.People who want to buy a truck and have no ideal anything else about how a trucking company works.the majority of drivers understand if you’re looking for a job and you come across a company that doesn’t have it’s own customers and are only relying on running broker freight that’s not a good situation and most drivers would choose a company with there own customers. But you will buy a truck and think it’s a great idea.Guess what it isn’t and you want to pretend you know what a broker is thinking.A broker is a salesman and he is well aware you are not which if you want to run a business any business you have to be .So trying to blame someone else of your shortcomings is never going to change anything. If you can’t sale and giving away any leverage you have to an outside company they are going to look out for there best interest .So when you finally figure who is really to blame for you not making money and fix it yourself instead of thinking someone else needs to fix it your are never going to make it.No one out here is going to hold your hand and do it for you.Your another one who thinks the government needs to fix your problem they never fix anything they just make things worse

No, I got a phone call from the broker after the email messages back n forth. We negotiated a rate and of course, I agreed with the rate and took it for a lower rate because I needed a back haul from location to home. The (customer) Receiver, personally asked me, 'How much did they pay me ('let's be fair and says how much did I agree too!!). Then he freaked out and said the margin was 45% they took (broker) from what he paid to receive the shipment. He thought that wasn't fair to me and I said 'I understand but I took it and agreed to that price, Nothing against the broker'. So he gave me a few hundred dollars cash in my hand more. The Receiver liked my service, maybe because I helped him offload the content and he respected that I'm not a lazy trucker who sits in the seat. He ended up forwarding my contact to his colleague who wants to work direct now. It was a good link (customer base connection), and again I am not blaming the broker who I got the initial load from. Some Shippers/Receivers respect the work I do on the contrary of others who jump into a ignorant mindset. It's simple, it happens some times. Hopefully, that clarified everything in a abecedarian understanding for you.

One last thing, regarding these Broker discussion threads I've notice it's the same bunch getting upset and can't hold back ever while they never take the time and read things fully through. The abundance of belligerence based off the ignorance preceived and it is unprecedented especially if a one truck Chuck carrier mentions anything about a Broker. Not all brokers are bad as I mentioned numerous times yet that small minded some individuals have and never try to expand their understanding and only pick, select and choose what they want out of it all then throw the insults. It's amazing how that works. I figure by the end of next month in June tempers are going to flare even more once rates slowly increases for the carrier. The truth really offends from the outlook on any mentioned of brokers in the threads. An Extreme defensive bunch.

It's the broker's fault. Just blame it on TQL. Someone has to be the sacrificial lamb for the god of failing 1099ers.

This is essentially still the case. There maybe a few outliers but there plenty of publicly traded large brokers that you can see their quarterly profit margins every quarter, they tend to hover around 15%.

TQL is the worst. With that said sometimes and it was rare they had decent paying loads but largely out of all the brokers TQL was the biggest problem. Very cheap and usually something wrong. Needed an appt. Wrong appt. Something.

    NorthEastTrucker Thanks this.
