    Worst thing that ever happened to trucks and heavy equipment was the use of modules to control stuff like lights. Things worked just fine for 80 years with relays. But hey they managed to trim 10 lbs off the tare weight of the truck with all this BS.

    Whoever engineered that should be sodomized with a baseball bat wrapped in barbed wire. :biggrin_25510:

    Yep. No wonder a base model truck is now $65k. The halogen tail lights and headlights on my pickup work just fine, plus they have the added bonus of me not having to stop every 15 minutes in a blizzard to clear them off.

    Well, I sense a bit of frustration there, but as a country, we asked for this baloney. That's why I drive a 30 year old Jeep, where the only electrics are the seat belt warning buzzer.
