Not sure how because that was his take home pay with no dispatch or extra operating fees taken out.

As a I mentioned, he takes home no less than $5k. He’s a contractor.

That didn't answer my question. What is being paid per mile, per load, what percentage if percentage, hourly etc?

Also, if he's a contractor you can immediately take 15.3 percent out of that number right off the bat for SE taxes. It's a safe bet that he's paying at least 35 percent in total taxes as a "contractor".

If your business is so profitable then why not pay that driver what he's worth and do it legally on a W2?

Paid holidays, layover, detention, 401k, vacation, health benefits, worker's compensation and unemployment compensation are what real employees get instead of your 1099 misclassification.

You're screwing that guy. How did you find a guy foolish enough to buy your sales pitch?

You’re doing a lot of typing for someone who clearly isn’t in the room. The driver’s happy, paid, and not on crying about what he thinks other people should earn. He’s clearing thousands, overhead-free, every week and last I checked, nobody was forcing you to even engage in this conversation The contracts we run require confidentiality so no, I’m not laying out a breakdown for strangers with control issues and too much time. If that rubs you the wrong way, take it as a sign to just stop responding altogether. And respectfully, if you spent half as much time building your own operation as you do pocket-watching and projecting, you might have something worth defending.

So you want confidentiality with your numbers but you expect your competition to share theirs? You're a funny guy.

I’m not expecting anything. I shared results to show proof, not for validation. I was getting insight for myself because I want to make sure my driver is being taken care of and by comparison, he is. I’m not in competition with anybody. Anyone is welcome to network with me, but not with this kind of energy. You’re too bothered for someone who isn’t interested. Disengaging now. Have a good one.

Sorry, you've already proven yourself to be morally bankrupt so your alleged numbers are nothing more than writing on a screen. There's no proof and it's not worth bragging about.

You know nothing about me beyond a screen name and a question mark. If you’re this worried about my bragging, it’s clear you’re more bothered by your own insecurities than anything I said. Keep projecting. I’m not focused on your validation.

Nah, not even close. I don’t touch Illinois for business. But good guess, Sherlock.
