    If it passes the brake test during your pretrip then I wouldn't worry about it unless your employer pays you to work on their trucks.

    Still routinely check for air leaks, however what you described sounds normal for these trucks. It’s a quality control for saving compressor run time.

    Yeah but I shouldn't lose air pressure unless I use the brakes right? Unless there are other components that need air that I don’t know about.

    Could be one leak or several small ones, if it’s a concern get the spray bottle out and track them down.

    As Kemosabi mentioned earlier, the truck uses air for plenty of other things besides the brakes. If it passes the pre-trip brake test you're good unless you can audibly hear an air leak somewhere with the truck shut down and the brakes released. Hold your trolley brake down on a walk-around. No audible leaks, you're golden.
