    Never answered my question.

Just remember that you are paid what you are worth.

Unless you bring something to the company that makes you stand out, you are just another driver. A commodity in this industry.

Even with your own truck you’ll have someone to answer to, be it a shipper or receiver or a broker. If they want you to go and you don’t want to go then pretty soon they will stop asking you to go.

Maybe I am missing your point. I have both cams and won't ever drive without them anymore . I was involved in a wreck last year where a guy ran a stop sign and tboned me. When the police showed up he told them it was my fault that I changed lanes into him, which was a complete lie. The outward camera shows him running the stop sign and the moment of impact . The inward camera shows my seatbelt on, driving under the speed limit, no phone in my hand, it also shows me looking towards the car on the left, recognizing they are not going to stop, quickly clearing my right side and starting to move to my right up until the point of impact... the only reason we know all that to be true is because it was recorded on camera for all parties to witness ... truck drivers are guilty by default. The camera protects the truth. Plain and simple... otherwise it is your word against lying scumbags...

Lmao :D:D you won't last 1 week in this business with your attitude. Maybe stand up comedy might be a better choice

Trying IS NOT doing. If I decide I will save the expenses and danger of using a chainsaw to cut timber by using a steak knife instead I am trying to cut timber but I'm not producing downed trees. Nobody pays the lumber jack for trying. They pay the lumber jack for cutting trees. EVERYONE has excuses for doing nothing. When I was unemployed I had reasons not to look for a job on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays. I had reasons not to look for work before the holiday, and after the holiday. I had reasons why I should stop looking for work and get training for this alternative and that other alternative. When I was still pursuing my dream for which I got college degrees and was living on $900/mo I could and did explain to everyone who would listen why the whole hiring process was based on lies and designed to ruin people who where not already from a wealthy family or willing to use their skill to support corrupt governments. Having an excuse or an argument isn't what matters. Doing is what matters. "Nobody can recover FOR the drug addict." If the person in the situation keeps doing what they have been doing they will keep getting what they have been getting. That's fair and it's what ought to happen every single time.

No assistance from anyone else can overcome your actions. If the results you are getting are not enough to cause you to change you should get what you have gotten. Your crying about the results is irrelevant to the outcome. Your indictment of the system is irrelevant to the outcome. Your choosing to stay in a bad situation is your action and the thing causing your outcome.

When EVERY trucking company you deal with is telling you "no" do you imagine they all email each other planning to stop you from having what you want? Is it even a very, very small and remote possibility you are the problem?

Nobody has more bosses they answer to than a 1 truck owner-operator. FMCSA, IRS, customers, brokers, lenders, shop, etc.
You should just buy lottery tickets or keep playing truck simulator games.

All work is honorable, except politics or head coach at Big 10 schools. Working a legal job is not swallowing your pride it's providing for yourself and/or family. Few things are more honorable than providing for yourself and family. Paying your way is pulling your weight so someone else who is NOT responsible for you doesn't have to take care of you. Many of us have a pathological and unwarranted pride and reducing that to normal is not a poor outcome anymore than filtering poison out of your blood is giving up something you deserve.
