I remember schaffers in a qt was .89cents and Gasoline was about the same per gallon , could have a fun Saturday night on 10$

My Dad drank Schlitz when I I was young. I can remember slipping a couple out of the kitchen putting them in the loft of the barn a few days later two of my buddies and I thought It'd be a good idea to drink them after they been in that hot barn in the summertime. I can remember us taking turns drinking a big gulp and talking about how good it was , when we were all about to blow chunks but didn't want each other to know. Dad never had anymore missing beers , I found out years later that he knew I'd got them , said he laughed his as& off thinking about us kids drinking that hot beer. We was probably 11 or 12.
