You can get demo version of DAT last I knew.
Can see rates just no contact info.

Impossible to give general idea of rates.

Better luck asking for a specific lane and trailer type.
Even then any good paying load is always taken within seconds of posting.

It’s the internet. I’m getting $8 a mile average with a length of haul 2300 miles I do 9 trips a week and just bought my 8th truck. I average 10 minutes at the dock if the forklift driver is at lunch. No appointments. They take me as soon as I come in. Average weight 1100 pounds. Plus I get free fuel at each shipper.

It varies, and rates any everything. If i do super heavy and get $4 a mile that looks great but is actully pretty awful. If i charge $2 a mile but i have a paid off rig and enough in the bank to replace it outright if it goes kaboom. Thats an amazing rate.

That said see DAT its the best you will get. However, ATBS said my sector was doing about $2.11 a mile average and overall drivers did around $1.87 in 24 but i did much better then that....im also specialized so yea.
