Came back for 2nds

 

Takin Ole Granny out to a new restaurant in town. I missed her birthday last month, so gotta make up for it before I leave again in the mornin.

Apparently it's a nice place. Hope I've got enough left for fuel money.

Kenny lived there off and on for years when he did not take French leave to go up home. Kenny was the dog handler and they had some good dogs. But oIe Kenny took good care of them and it is said they would not track him, just come back to the kennel, sit and look up the road like he was coming with goodies. Lots of time Kenny would "escape". be gone, they look, and he stroll back in. Got so, they did not really mount a search until 2 weeks had past. Then thinking something had happened to him.

Most dogs now are not trained well nor made use of often enough to track a typical escapee. I think Parchman and Angola in Louisiana were
the last of the old true bloodhounds that could whiff you a mile away. Parchman with a thousand acres of flat delta and Angola with the Louisiana swamps were easier places to run them.

Had some experience with a TD6, olive drab, war sale surplus, Seitz Lumber Co.. Nice tractor.
The "M", ours did not have the belt pulley,. nor fenders.

 

Old style insulators there as best I can see. If green. be worth $ from a collector.

 

Appears that the kick start lever got broke off

No— it was Mrs Oxbow’s birthday celebration and it was an excellent time so we weren’t play’n for blood today— maybe next time
