I choose to remove fear by having a plan. Anyone can see the videos of illegal mobs removing people from vehicles or setting vehicles in the street on fire.

    Bottom line. And I DON’T CARE .

Point a firearm at me, you’re going to die on the spot.
Surround me and attack/assault the truck, you’re going to die on the spot.

I will run you down, over or whatever it is called.
    END OF STORY.

I have had the displeasure of being in a mob situation. I zip tie airlines so that they can’t be easily disconnected. I will not sit and hope for the better. My safety is first and foremost. Someone poses a threat to that, they die on the spot, no questions asked.

You say, sounds like big talk. 4 years of legal action. Both criminal and civil cases. He is dead and I am not. They paid the legal fees, because they lost. Fortunately the idiot fired 2 rounds at the truck.

The govonors with a D by their name didn’t ask for the feds to send in forces to make them integrate the schools in the 60s either …

you think the fedgov should have waited until the govonors asked for it ?

I'll end all discussions about what to do with this simple quote:
Better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6.
Me or them to live? I choose me! Move out of my way or become a speed bump. Nuff said.

Your point? Also, please remember that the people who stopped the attack and drove Denny to the hospital were black.

As to your other remark - these are two very different situations.

Brown v Board of Education was decided in 1954. In the same year, Arkansas announced it would take immediate steps to comply with the decision. In 1957, the Little Rock School Board unanimously voted to desegregate the schools. On September 2, 1957, Governor Faubus called out the National Guard to 'maintain order', when in reality he had ordered them to prevent the black students from entering the school. The School Board voraciously condemned the Governors actions and Eisenhower invited Faubus for a meeting on September 14, where Faubus indicated he would comply with desegregation. Faubus removed the National Guard and allowed the segreationists to riot when the black students attempted entry on September 23. The Little Rock Mayor asked for Federal intervention, which occurred on September 24. The entire Arkansas National Guard was Federlized and told to sit down and shut up while the 101st was deployed to keep order. When the 101st deployed, it's black soldiers were initially held back to avoid escalation.

The Ice raids and ensuing protests started on June 6. On June 7, Trump sent in the National Guard over the objections of the Police Chief, the Mayor, and the Governor.

In the first situation, the initial response was to attempt deescalation by not attempting to send the black students to school. This was followed by communication between the various government entities over 20 days before Federal intervention at the behest of local officials. In the second, one day passed before the President attempted to instill martial law over the objection of local officials in order to allow Federal officers to engage in actions which are legally questionable (at best).

If you don't think a mob will attack you or your family for just being there at a stoplight, you're blind. You haven't paid attention to the last 10 nation-wide "protests"
