Nobody cares about DEF unless they go to California. What may limit you is whether your truck can work with an elog.

You might give any/all of the following a try:

    • Southern Ag Carriers (in Albany)
    • Early Trucking Co (in Arlington)
    • Flint River Mills (in Bainbridge)

Don't waste your time with Schneider and a pre-def tractor. Must have a GHG-14 or newer engine so they hook ELD to it.

I've had Qualcomm ELDs (technically AOBRDs) on trucks far older than that. My first truck at Swift was an 08. My first truck at Landstar was an 09 and it was pre-DEF, had a data port, and had a Qualcomm. Why does Schneider require a GHG-14? My guess is that has something to do with California.

I dunno, their lease agreements says no tractors older than 10 years, along with wheelbase and weight restrictions.

California is a whole 'nother set of rules and inspections to follow. I don't go there.
