I drove myself crazy on this one. I spent more time than I'd like to admit tracing 22 and 30 on street view. Even jumped up to 19 in Cranberry and started south before I gave up.

I should have kept pushing south.

I was told to use acetone to clean my tarps before patching and as long as you wipe the area dry there is no problem. The same tarp builder was the one who used acetone to remove lettering.

I was impressed with your recollection though - I really had it pegged the same as you - Route 22, or somewhere on 30. It just LOOKS familiar, but ironically, I don't remember being past that intersection before - I hate going to the south side, even in a car. Not to defend the dummy taking a VERY well signed road he shouldn't - but it's really easy to get "effed up" down there, even when you're trying and paying attention.

They’re still in quarantine. Haven’t used them for anything yet.

By New York City logic that's the correct sign for 13'10"+.

Fun fact I ran across awhile back: it's not legal in NY to go under a bridge marked lower than your actual height, despite the fact they're intentionally marked a foot below actual clearance.

I was down a rabbit hole about why they mark them that way and ran across some official document from the state about their reasoning for doing so, and it stated just that.
