Does anybody remember the Pilot in Troutville, VA at exit 150 off 81 in VA? It makes the parking in that place look like the Taj Mahal. I remember going up to Jersey from Tennessee 2 times a week and Pilot was our fuel stop. We had little 110 gallon tanks and that was our last fuel stop in VA before the great northeast. I hated that place but I parked there for showers sometimes. There was a trashy TA across the road from it that's no longer there. I remember when they built a new Pilot in Greenville, VA that also became one of our designated fuel stops. Never stopped in Troutville again after that. Thought it was great in Greenville until we realized everybody stayed parked on the fuel island for that long walk to the fuel desk or Arby's causing constant cluster####s. Lol, what a pain. That one in Greenville became even worse than Troutville. Last time I went through there a few years ago on a spot run they were building a Love's next to the Pilot. I'm sure it's clustered up even more now. Glad I quit running up that lane about 15 years ago. Don't miss it lol.

Do they even have parking for trucks? The few that I've seen, I didn't think I see any in them.

Looking at this dump of a parking lot if I couldn’t get a reserved spot up front there is no way I’d park there.

I've knocked on peoples trucks before and asked them to move. Part of the job sometimes.

Buccee's is known for not allowing trucks to park in their lots. I tried to park at one in Texas once not knowing they didn't allow trucks and was asked to leave.

I stayed the night at that so called truck stop once. Yes, extremely small and tight spots. I only stayed there when I did because there happened to be an open spot. I actually nosed in and backed out in the morning. As I recall the few parking spots were directly in front of the fuel pumps and the spot I got was right in front of one of the fuel pumps with barely room to turn after fueling before getting to the parking spot.
