So you missed the jump from vinyl to cassette— 8 track was very popular and I still have an AC/DC Back in Black, a Molly Hatchet Flirt’n with Disaster, Uncle Ted Double Alive Gonzo, Boston with that starship thingy and Fleetwood Mac Rumors hidden in a very secret and secure location that only gets brought out on very special occasions

 

I been thinking about this a bit— I believe that the WIIS thread could put together a band— we’re all younger than all the bands we grew up with and they can’t sing for #### anymore—
@Dale thompson could be that dude on the Oakridge Boys
@austinmike could be the heavy metal screamer that… never mind
@exhausted379 could be a stand in for Earnest Tubb or Buck Owens
@IH Truck Guy is a dead wringer for Willie
@Dave_in_AZ could be the lead for something like the Eagles or The Beach Boys
@Espressolane could do Opera
@ElmerFudpucker could — well there’s probably a place he could fill in
I’ll stop now, but I think there’s some real potential here
